Payment Gateway subcomponents

The Payment Gateway is composed of several subdomains (AKA bounded contexts in DDD lingo), each matching a Modular Monolith Subcomponent ⧉:

• Accounts: Payment accounts issued by external PSPs
• Authorizations: Real-time authorization of payments made with issued cards
• Banking Documents: SEPA mandates and other legal documents
• Cards: Payment cards issued by external PSPs
• Ledgers: Ledgers and balances
• Merchants: Merchant registry from payments made with issued cards
• Rules: Transaction rules on payment cards and accounts
• Transfers: Financial transfers occurring on our platform and external PSPs
